Stylin’

Every once in a while.  Not often, but every once in while, Josiah gets a wild hair and wants to “fix” Ceili Rain’s hair.  Since she enjoys being a pampered princess, Ceili Rain willingly allows him to!

This is a tongue out kind of concentration.

The Diva’s new do!

Alright, I’ve got a son who needs a marriage contract.  Guaranteed to be able to fix his daughter’s hair!  I’ll teach him to braid too!

Treasure Hunt

The weekend before Resurrection Sunday, we got an email that mentioned having a Scripture treasure hunt and it provided all the verses to do the hunt.  So, Mark and I gathered together “prizes” (basically things to take with us on our upcoming trip to the beach and a few sweet goodies and bubbles…of course) and Resurrection Sunday the kids went on a hunt.
And afterwards, there was fighting with the bubble swords!
Sure, he looks adorable, but there’s a warrior inside.
See?

 And they are just adorable.
We all agreed that the treasure hunt would be a Bunch of Characters Family Tradition from here on out.  And hopefully next year my brain won’t be post-baby mush and I can do a fun, fancy box instead of a cardboard packing one!

A Bunch of Spring Chickens

Here’s everyone decked out in their Spring finest.  I’m absolutely in love with the girls’ dresses this year!  The fabric was from Marie-Madeline and the pattern was from The Handmade Dress.

Don’t they just look like they’re the next Rat Pack?!
My beautiful girls!
Ceili Rain’s hand is fine.  She has on a bicycle wrist pad.
Cool light reflection on my sweet princess!
Everyone wanted a picture holding Malachi.

With them all running around, it was hard to get individual shots of them.  I leave that to the expert!  But, they were mostly patient enough for us to get our annual Ressurrection Day pictures so after some good shots we told them to photo bomb!  Without us ever telling them what a photo bomb was, they did it!  And they were really good too.  Experts I say.

Helper

Josiah is such a good helper in the kitchen.  Me, being the OCD type A personality I am, has a hard time delegating kitchen tasks.  But, Josiah is always willing to help or watch or do what he can to get his hands in the middle of a baking frenzy or cooking fiasco.  I so love his spunk for cooking!
