So Silly

My kids are goofy!! Zoe grabbed a bunch of Ace’s hats and piled them on. Of course, Ace had to have his Superman hat!

Ace getting ready to sleep in his big boy bed…this was the first night the boys slept together. Liam was a little excited and too busy to sit still for a picture.

Helper in Training

Liam is starting to enjoy being a helper. The other day I was cooking in the kitchen. Liam was playing in the playroom with the vaccum cleaner. When I saw him, I made a comment about needing to sweep up in the kitchen (I always make a big mess when I cook), when I looked up from what I was doing, he had the kids’ broom sweeping up beside me! Smart kid. When daddy gets the vaccum out, he comes close behind with his vaccum! Here are some cute pics we caught.

Here are our 15 minutes!

Here is the famous picture that created such a stir one day last month. This is the picture and the snipit of the article about Spring cleaning that appeared in the Augusta Family Magazine for this month. Yes, my name is completely misspelled…but hey, what are you gonna do?! At least my kids look really cute.

And finally…

Here are some great pictures of the kids…

Saturday evening while waiting on supper, Liam and Zoe sat at the fridge and played with our fridge magnets (they sing the ABCs and do phonics sounds).

Of course, when Ace saw the camera he had to join in!

Yippee! Josiah has his first real baby item that will not be handed down from Zoe, Ace, or Liam. This will probably be one of very few…not counting his diapers (clothe ones, that I still have to order soon). I ordered this blanket from ladies at our church that have started an embroidery business. It’s going to be a nice size blanket and light weight enough to use with nursing during the summer. I think it’s beautiful!

Some Cute Liam Pics

A favorite of all our kids is being thrown by Daddy. Here is Liam in action!

Looks like we have another bookworm in the making. I love his face in these shots. He’s not eating anything, just the way he looks when he’s really thinking about something.

Here is Liam doing something that he enjoys the “mostest!” Climbing on the highest point possibel and standing up!

Pillow Diving

One of our favorite activities is Pillow Diving. Zoe and Ace get pillows from all over the house and pile them in the floor of our playroom. The jump is very minimal as there are only two steps down to our playroom. But the jumping is a bunch of fun. This is from our recent pillow diving adventure this past weekend.
Waiting for a signal from the judges to begin jumping!

Zoe jumping in!
Ace’s descent into the pillow pile.

Liam’s pillow diving consisted of jumping from the playroom floor and falling face first into a pile of pillows. He did just step off into the pillows once and, when Mark and I laughed, looked at us like we were the crazy ones!
Phew! That was a lot of hardwork jumping into pillows.

Baby Peanut is…

a boy!!! Josiah Britt let us know right away that he was on the way. He is healthy and growing good. He measured about 20 weeks give or take a week. He was asleep even after drinking caffeine but the tech was able to wake him up. We are praising God that He has chosen us to raise not one, or two, but three little boys for His glory! We are a little overwhelmed that we will have three boys but any amount of children no matter what gender is a great responsiblity as well as a gift. So, Zoe will get to be the little princess for a while longer until God chooses to bless us with a little girl through adoption (we pray).

Here’s his little boy part picture to verify for everyone. We definitely didn’t see any of the “lines’ that are typical of a girl on the ultrasound.

Sweet little Josiah just a snoozing.
His pretty little foot.
Most everyone knows that Zoe was praying for a baby sister. I was worried about her reaction but she was just thrilled to be able to see the baby on the screen. She was wide eyed and grinning the whole time. She is thrilled about being able to swap rooms now (look for an invite to our painting party soon!). She was also thrilled to be able to see such a sweet miracle. She loved looking at his feet and hands. Here are a few of her comments:
“He’s so pretty!”
“I can’t believe he’s so small.”
“Can I see his feet again!?”

Thank you for praying that he was healthy. He is a true blessing from God. Please continue to pray for a continued healthy pregnancy and delivery!

Oh yeah, Josiah’s name:
Josiah was a king. His name means “God will save” or “”fire of the Lord.” You can read about him in 2 Kings 21 through23. Here is a little of what the Bible says about him:

Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years. His mother’s name was Jedidah daughter of Adaiah; she was from Bozkath. He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and walked in all the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left. 2 Kings 22:1-2

Britt is my maiden name and a way for us to carry on the Britt name.

Sick Kids Update

Everyone is well! Except for runny noses from me (Abbie), Liam, Ace, and Zoe…but we are on the healing side of things and we should be all better in a few days. I’m so excited that we can just go to church tonight!!!

I’ll post tomorrow about Baby Peanut! Please pray that the baby is healthy and that we are able to see whether the baby is a boy or girl!
