The Moment Ya’ll Have Been Waiting For…

Swim Lessons!! The kids finished up today and this is one glad mama that we don’t have to get up and spend our whole morning at the pool! We will probably go at least once next week though, because they have a blast!

Zoe is doing great learning to swim on her own. She’s still very hesitant about swimming on her back.

Goggle Boys! They found the goggles this week and since one was broken, we purchased some more (how many times did I want to write google instead of goggle…the internet, shish!)

Zoe graduated!

I wore Ceili Rain for two days…pretty much the whole day. While I love to wear her, I have to admit that was a lot and very draining. So, we pulled out our single stroller and tried her in that. This is what she did for most of the swim lessons.

Ace after the teacher dunked him under. I love the face!

Liam liked to venture out on his own a little. He still obeyed the teachers and stayed close to them and to the side. He’s become an expert “digger.”

A Bunch of Characters

Zoe, Ace, and Liam played dress up this weekend and politely asked for a photo shoot! They positioned themselves and everything. Pretty impressive.

For those wondering, that is one of my old color guard (flag corp) uniforms…yeah, I kept them for this very purpose. I also have my old graduation robes.

I think the stained floor really fits with the scene of the sleeping princess…

And roaring dragon…pay no attention to the man in the back taking diapers to the washing machine.

Oh yeah, he’s tuff.

Under the Big Top!

Welcome to the “Greatest Show on Earth!” No, not my house. Mark and I were able to take the kids to the circus last week. I have to say that even if the kids didn’t enjoy it, I sure did. The coolest thing was that before the show started they had a pre-show and we were able to go down to the ring and watch and participate with the performers. Very cool! We were also able to splurge and let them each pick out a souvenir. I was impressed with their choices…no big surprise, Liam wanted a sword. Ace actually picked out a clown nose and a program. Zoe got cotton candy that came with a clown hat and we picked up a dvd for Josiah (since they’ll all enjoy that and he didn’t really care). I do think the kids had a great time. And I actually got some decent pictures event hough the batteries were running down on the camera.

The dog trainer lady at the pre-show.

Silly Ace! He kept the nose on almost the entire time. It blinks too!

Liam’s sword and Dadyd with the boys. Don’t ya love his hat??

The motorcycle guys allowed the kids to sit on their bikes. They do that globe of death thingy that’s in the background, which is pretty amazing to watch!

Despite the look of horror on his face, he wanted to get on the bike (as a disclaimer: we don’t force our kids in to awkward picture taking, hence the reason you don’t see Santa and the kids on our site)

Dressing up as circus performers…some days it feels like we live in a circus!

For my sis…see daschunds can be trained (but apparently it’s very hard). They were so cute and she had a few very tiny ones.

And any guesses what Ceili Rain did during the entire performance (with a little break to eat)?

That’s our Sleeping Beauty.

Park Day

We met up with some friends a few weeks ago to play at the park. Ceili Rain (aka Sleeping Beauty) was asleep almost the whole time. The kids had fun. Mark was still off work, so I got to sit, relax and visit with my friends while the kids played and Mark took pictures.

Liam having some fun with S.

I love this picture of our friend K-bug. Not sure if that’s a look of terror or excitement.

Sliding fun.

Not quite sure what she’s doing with her headband here.

Books Alive!

A couple of weeks ago, we took the kids to a celebration at our library called, Books Alive! They had a lot of transportation type activities in honor of a children’s author who was there. He wrote transportation type books. I’m not familiar with him and we never actually saw him but we did have a lot of fun. Oh, and Ceili Rain was sleeping (as usual) so she didn’t make the pics.

On the “choo choo” Behind me is a friend’s husband and their child…sitting with Zoe. Josiah’s our resident train fanatic and so, after he realized where he was, he was very excited.

Just some pictures of Ceili Rain

Ceili Rain’s first week pictures are almost done…we’re getting there…but I know the grandparents love to have them to show off. These are just some random pictures from the first few days.

Any questions what the kids think about her? As I’m typing this, Josiah is in my lap saying, “Ma me.” And trying to touch the screen.

One proud daddy. He absolutely dotes on her. God has truly blessed us with another girl to be raised up as a godly woman by Mark.

The Fam…boy, we’re a big crew!
